What Oil to buy?

I believe this oil is recommended for 197's, although not 100% sure.

The price doesn't look too bad for Oil? It's much cheaper than in shops.

Does any have any suggestions?

I stick to the oil recommended by renault. Elf excellium 5W40, as above

I use Comma Oil, 5W40 fully synthetic..

Carlin Motorsport swear by the brand for the GP2 car and Comma is also official technical partner for F4. On top of that Noble Motorsport put it in everything from my car and Porshes up to Nobles and Atoms. Bloody loads cheaper then elf too.

any fully synthetic 5w40, wouldnt say one brand is better than another, its personal preferance imo

Out of those, the best ones are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Millers CFS/CFS NT, Motul 300V, Redline and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Millers XFS, Fuchs GT1 XTL/Supersyn, Gulf Formula G, Shell Helix and Mobil Super 3000 are good, cheaper alternatives.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I've bought the Elf Excellium 5W40 after I found my handbook and it recommending it

Hopefully this thread helps people in the future, as for some reason I couldn't flag up an oil-service related question.
