Water leak from underneath Clio

Good afternoon all

I took my Clio out for a drive for the first time in nearly 4 weeks and when I parked up, I noticed a water leak coming from underneath the car.

Here’s a video of the water leaking

and also a photo of the water that’s been collected is attached to this post.

Have any of you experienced this and if so, what was the issue? I don’t know where to start! There were no warning lights on the dash and the thermostat was at the normal level, between the 2nd and 3rd bar.

The fan is on in the video because the air con is on, so I’m not sure if the water leaking is something to do with the air con.

I’d be grateful for any help you can give me.

Many thanks

It could be the air conditioning. The weather is hot so it will create waste water that usually just drips on to the floor.

coolant should be colouredC

Thanks for your reply, Burrellbloke. Having watched this video you could be right as it’s similar to what’s happened with my car.

I’ve never seen anything like it with the Clio hence me being a bit worried. Has anyone else reading this post experienced this?

Thank you for your help

Yep that’s from the AC. The drain is above the heat shielding where the gear selector goes through the exhaust tunnel.
