I'm aiming to do this to my 197 next summer. Never attempted wet sanding before but I think it's just a case of practice makes perfect and alot of attention and effort required. Cannot wait to have perfect paintwork on the Albi!

Thats only £6-25 per hour labour rate.

Exactly, awesome work and immense amount of time to go from 1200 through to 4000 grade on a complete car, I wonder what the roof finish was like and if he did that, doesnt seem to be any detail on it in the thread but some pics asrent working.

Its just mental how much readings and how much detail he went into the whole sanding process, even some of the top detailers i know don't go into that depth.

Brilliant results. That definitely did not cost £500! £500 is probably just when things start to get serious in terms of detailing work.
