just a quickie..do I have to disconnect the battery in order to remove my TB to clean it??

I wouldn't bother, if you're putting the stock TB back on, no need to disconnect the battery.

Hi Pav,

I had an issue removing the connector from mine at the weekend , so ended up doing it unbolted but with the connector still attached with no issues.

If you look at your engine bay, top right hand corner is the airbox, follow the airbox intake back towards the engine and where it joins to your engine is your Throttle Body.

To remove it is 4 8mm (IIRC) bolts and an electrical connector. To clean you can use carb cleaner or something similar.

as montana said..you can also use a brake cleaner...
