Throttle Body Compatibility

Simple question:
Are 172/182/197/200 Throttle Bodies cross compatible?
Trying to buy one to have the step polished down, but theres not a lot of 197/200 TB's on eBay. lots of 172/182's though!

Anyone with the knowledge?

Different between 172/182 and 197/200 i managed to lose 2 in the post :s

Thanks woody! Theres a guy on ebay who does polishing of the TB's, works on a part-exchange basis (pay some money, get a polished TB, send your old one to him)
Problem is he only has a 172/182 TB in stock.

Anyone got a part number for the TB?

woody, you wouldn't happen to know why the 172/182 i'snt compatible? part numbers look almost identical. the parts look identical...

Different electronics i had 1 and when i put it on the car it revved its nuts off like 4k idle lol

My birds 182 throttle body fitted and worked perfectly on my 197 whilst i had mine off for work...

I am pretty sure I am currently using a 1*2 TB on mine.

i fitted and tried a 172 throttle body on mine. Worked no problem.

So there are none on ebay, but you might want to try the Royal Fail instead EightBall lol!
