The two RS ladies.....

Love them both! Need the black wheels on the focus though! Think if I was getting one I would def go for the green paint with black wheels!

Love the green RS, it's strange how small it looks in that picture though.

Which is the most fun ? I'm sure you wouldn't need to work the RS as hard to get the LOL fun like you do in the 197.

Which is most fun..... Im 36 and have driven a lot of cars over the years, Before the RS's I had a Civic Type R new shape, before that I had a Mini Cooper S Works (Supercharger not Turbo charged) and before that a Seat Ibiza Cupra that I had chipped with REVO before that I had a Saxo VTR, Fiesta RS Turbo, XR3I etc.... So I think I can say Ive had a varied range of cars over the years. Soooo I can say that the 197 is an amazing car.. amazing fun to drive, Love it to bits.... But if I want to get my jollies going the Green one is where its at. The mind numbing acceleration from 2500rpm in virtually any gear at any speed takes some beating. Its an event driving it. popping from the exhaust, the engine noise is spine tingling with the 5 pot... its is a great car.... (I nearly had a nervous breakdown trying to get it though... it took 18 months after ordering it to getting it) lol

But Im very lucky and have one of each. VERY LUCKY lol

You like your hot hatches

I can imagine how special the RS feels to drive having partially 'looked after' a couple of special cars myself. Theres a fair amount go to Knockhill regular and there very capable cars, though brakes a bit weak on track.

tasty. just out of a matter of interest whats the focus like to drive?

A few of the lads have put AP Racing 6 pots on there RS's but to be honest the brakes are mental standard. I have to be really careful after driving another car when I get back in the Focus to not put my face through the windscreen when pressing the brake pedal. I dont really know about track use though, as mine will never see a track! I'd heard that they were quite good on a track though, but they faded abit after some heavy useage..

You know when your younger and you see a car you want (mine was theFiesta / Escort RS Turbo) and you thought "I want one of those" Then you finally get one there no where near as fast as you thought! Well the Focus RS is every bit what you expect it to be like... All I can say is its unreal. And the engine note is Hmmmm....

It was the brake fade I was on about, I'm sure there more than adequate in any other form of driving.

Good man that yours wont be seeing a track, an ultimate green RS is too nice to be abused on a track it should be shining at all times imo.

Focus-jam - you based anywhere near Banchory by any chance - Sure I've seen your cars parked up and you "popping" up Raemoir road

Very nice indeed! I would really like a focus RS when I come to trade the 200 in (will be a while yet though) :worried: My dads got a ST220 and he is looking at changing it this year, trying to persuad him to get a Focus RS, but not much luck! He is 50 and says that he is too old for a car like that! I f**king hope I am not like that when I get to that age! :-p
