Hi

Thinking about temporarily removing the cup spoiler but do t want to fill in the holes as I may well want it back on again!

Anyone got any ideas on removing it temporarily and plugging the holes?

How big are the holes left? Maybe some wall plugs would do the job? But then there may be a problem with water leaks?

Cheers!

if you remove it you could use some small blanking grommets..most good motorist shops will have these - use some silicone to make them water tight :thumbup1:

Its a propper marmite/love it or hate it thing

I have a sprint spoiler and i do like it but there are times when i wish i didnt have one at all

When I removed my cup spoiler I used this solution to cover the holes:

Good old fashioned selotape. That was just to cover them overnight before the car went in to have the top of the tailgate properly repaired and repainted.

Would the vinyl definitely be water proof?

I do like the cup spoiler but wouldn't mind having it off for a bit!

5yr + vinyl will be fine. Just make sure it big enough to cover the hole and tight so that it doesn't sag in the middle. Easily found in all colours on eBay. Good luck
