Hey everyone ive been looking at getting a clio 200 for a lil while now

Ive been offered a swap for my car but would like some thoughts if some people wouldnt mind.

I have a abarth 500 2009 60k miles.

And im being offered a black 59 plate clio 200 49k miles with recaros.

Any thoughts?

Is it a cup/full fat? A rough estimate on the Clio would be around £7500 depending what it's had done to it.

Not sure how much the 500 is worth but it sounds fairly good.. Just be aware it may be due a cambelt change so ask if it's been done as that's a £400-500 job. Due on 6 years on the 200. Also check what the gearbox is like as they're known for having issues going into 3rd or 4th. Slight crunch leading to needing a new gearbox costing around £700 upwards. Over all as the actual car though the Clios are great fun.

Yeah I've had a Clio 197 before and was a lot of fun I sort of missed it so seen this as a good opportunity to try the 200.

Yeah the cam belt is due pal but I've taken this into consideration.
