The sumps bolted to the g'box:blink: why do renault do such things, anything I need to be worried about or need to support when doing the sump gasket! And thanks for the torques!

makes it stronger bolting to gearbox...

fairly straight forward job but better on a 2 post hoist

I have small leak from sump gasket.
My car is on jack stands, radiator support bar is off the car. I am ready to drop sump.
Some questions. There seems to be lower engine support in sump if i saw correctly. Do i have to support engine from top engine bay (top) before i remove sump?
I have original rubber type gasket in my garage already, is that good to use?
Is there any sense to check conrod bearings / replace bolts? Mileage: 110.000kilometres.
I will take my dirty sump to machine shop for parts washer.

Any other tips? @Foxspeed

No need to support the engine, it's held it place by the two main mounts, engine and gearbox and the rotation link a the top too.

Have a look at the following information regarding torquing the bolts in the correct order.

Replace the rubber gasket.
