Steering wheel types

ON the lookout for a 197, i notice that some have the non- RenaultSport branded wheel and others have a RS branded one

Is it linked to the year of the 197 with 2006 models having the non RS branded one?

The RS branding is simply a bolt on piece of trim, the main differences IIRC in the factory spec steering wheels is between the Cup and non-Cup models.

So when did renault decide to include it in the factory build (non cup cars) is it from a specific date do you know ?

I'm not sure it was a factory option. You can buy them for around £15-£20.

I think the trim came on the Cup Models - and aren't the cup wheels much less chunkier than the normal/full fat Clio's too? The trim can be bought for non-cup Clio's from various websites if you wanted to add it yourself.
