Sqeaking

Getting a sqeaking from the front drivers side. Took the brakes apart cleaned them, changed discs and pads, applied cooper grease where needed, bedded them in properly.

And it's still there. The noise must be coming from the brakes as when I feather the brakes whilst rolling it dissapears.

Has anyone had any issues with hub assembly? Or a similair issue?

Which pads do you have? I get this with DS2500 pads but didn't get it with standard pads or carbone lorraines

No need, there's plenty of room between pad and caliper.

I'd be pretty pissed if I had paid £180 for pads and then need to alter the backing plate tbh!

He means chamfer on the pad material, not the backing plate. If there isn't a chamfer here then when the pad contacts the disc it can pick up on this edge and cause vibration (noise)

They're brand new discs, so there isn't a lip to catch.

Stripped and cleaned them? copper slip or similar on the rear of the pads etc?

Standard pads were always terrible for it for me though.....
