shock options..???

You will never get a better set than V3's they are the ultimate but as you say 1400 for road use = no point. Mine were set up and corner weighted and 4 wheel aligned and from day 1 they transformed the car. A corner taken at 50 on cup suspension could be taken at well over 80 and still feel safe. Throw a set of semi slicks on and it's a very nifty track car. I loved it. Yes I was low but say goodbye to ure arch liners lol.

V1 arnt that expensive for the quality you get mate.

Especially for a track based car, the £3-400 extra you'll pay for kw clubsports is well worth the extra. And they are a step above v3's.
 
Yeh koni do an adjustable shock that replace the standard shock which can take upto a 30mm lowering spring
 
Adjustable, as meaning you can set up the stiffness rather than height
