SHELL: Drivers fuel card

My mum an step dad have coach tour business. They use their necter card when they fill up, not a small tank lol

I kept being told Tesco had the best fuel. To be honest, I'm sure they all come from the same refineries just in different wagons lol.

Tescos is a good fuel, but shell specialises in it and my car runs better on it, pops more and doesn't idle so bad in the mornings.

Always use my card with V-power unless I have to make a desperate dive into a petrol station for some emergency fuel! Always a nice bonus when the vouchers come through.

Little tip, if you use the Shell Motorist app on your phone you get sent a bonus 100 points offer for when you fill up more than 25 litres, usually get this offer sent to me once a week, soon adds up!

I also have a Shell fuel card and it's definitely worth having for the free fuel and like austin197 says with the app you frequently get bonus points too.

Can someone explain the App? It would be used by me.

simply just show the app or what exactly do you do on it?

http://www.shell.co.uk/gbr/products-services/on-the-road/shell-motorist-app.html Thats the app Gez, once you download and fire it up on your phone you link it up to your card number, then you can view your points, offers available etc. Can also view where the nearest shell station is, quite handy when you are somewhere where you don't have the local knowledge.

I used to get a decent amount of vouchers but came out of work one night to a frozen car, was either my debit card or shell card as emergency scraper. The ice got between the laminate and plastic and it all split. Never ordered a new one, probably lost out on a lot of cash.

ill download that Austin  cheers  how does the 100 points register from using the app then? Just automatically from using the garage search?

Theres a tab at the bottom of the app called 'my offers' it's at the bottom right corner of the android app (guess iPhone is the same). Click on that and a list of any offers you have available to you comes up, you then have to activate them by clicking on the specific offer. I just activate all of mine without reading them, I mean an offer can't ever be bad right?!

Done it  cheers for that, I was wondering today how I could keep track of my points easier than login in each time, the app is perfect

Paddy, what's your best fuel you can get hold of?

Probably BP Ultimate or Texaco High Octane, both 97 RON. To be honest the Texaco stuff is probably better than BPs stuff but as the BP station is in the town I work in and the nearest Texaco is 25 miles away I use BP. I also get nectar points via eBay (which is nice).

Look like we have a shell garage in Dover so I'll pop up there tonight and see if I can get one

I have the app but forget every ****ing time to activate the offer, usually remembering when I'm back in my car.

I was the same, kept missing offers so just set up notifications from the app so I get notified when I have a new offer.

Seems like there's 100 bonus points every week, which is good!

I usually get around £8 voucher every few months.
