Scams?

Are there any known scammers on the site who have no posts yet are offering to buy things?

Or am i just being over cautious?

If they were known scammers I am sure they will be banned already. If you think someone is a scammer just be extra cautious and make sure there is no way they can scam you

Pm a mod or admin with any suspicious activity mate. We can have a look and let ya know.

We don't let anyone advertise for sale threads unless they are a paid member or over 100 posts in order to try and protect folk from scammers.

Exactly what N0ddie said, we like to think we do everything we can to make it safe.

TBH though if anyone is buying over a distance you have to use your head, if it is too good to be true - it probably is etc etc... I always prefer cash on collection, but people are different.

That's not quite true. You do have protection via paypal but its under certain circumstances e.g. using paypal to buy from a shop online.

I was done through paypal £1800 was taken straight out my bank with out me even knowing
