Rubber - B Pillar

Morning,

The rubber seals on my B pillar split months ago, i finally got some replacements but the stickiness of them can only be described as dog**** so they haven't been used.

I'm now looking for something i can use to stick these back on with no problems?

On a possible related note. I'm noticing recently my windows are steaming up alot. This has never been an issue before. Could this be down to not having these rubber seals on my car? I'm guessing it will be the likely cause.

As far as I can see the seals are just for noise. I've been running without them for ages and noticed no steaming up .

Mine are knackered too-wheres the cheapest place to get new ones?

They're quite crap. Had Renault replace mine twice, first time they'd split and the second because they were falling off. They did a much better job the second time, but I would say that you need to
1.clean the glass as much as possible, using spirits to get off the glue as much as you can.
2.try and do it in the warmth
3.don't shut the doors for ages
4.wedge something behind them for as long as possible.

You could also try using some similar sticky backed stuff to stick the other side to the door frame.
