RS200... available cams/ induction systems?

Hellow guys,

just wandering what aftermarket camshafts are available? and what induction systems have people tried out and found to be benefitial? Are there any others better than KTR/ ITG units?

Am I right in thinking catcams do a pair for these cars? what other cams are there?

Thanks
John.

Firstly there are 2 companies doing cams for the Clio, Cat Cams and Shrick.

The Shricks are highly rated and are a more aggressive profile than what's on offer from Cat Cam. The Shricks are around £1200.

The Cat Cams are £704 delivered from us and are available with following profiles:

5504402*-*268° 263° - Sport
5504403*-*277° 269° - Rally/Cross

You can find out more info on the Cat Cams on our website:

For induction kits you'll find that there are only a few that provide positive gains.

The Clio V6 airbox as fitted to the old cup racers are very good but are as rare as hens teeth. Your other options are the wildly expensive Madeno Racing kit, the Ktec induction kit, or the popular choice of the ITG Maxogen. Any other induction kits like the K&N will result in a drop in power.

Fernandez What profile produces more power?

What would happen if I put a Rally/Cross profile Camshaft in the car? What are the differences?

It's more about where the power is tbh. The sport ones are more suited to road use. With the rally ones your just moving the power up the rev range.

The rally ones will produce a lumper idle and unless you are planning on going further with the n/a tuning I.e cat cam springs, followers and forged goodies then I'd stick with the road ones.
