Removal of cigar lighter?

I have a few bits to hard wire into the car, and was planning on taking the ignition switched feed from the lighter, but I don't know how to get to the rear of it. Does that section of trim by the handbrake just pull out?

Any recommendations for a permenant live?

I am wiring in the following;

Phone cradle
Tomtom
Tyre pressure monitoring unit

All input appreciated.

if it was me i would take the glovebox out and run the connections to the back of the intterior fuse box

same as ^^^^^^ but make sure it doesnt drain ure battery

pull out bit where handbrake is. lift leather gear gater up an theres two screws under that part and another two between seats if you slide them forward you can get to them then complete centre column lifts out but there is a wire to lighter that needs unplugging.

So how do you remove the glovebox to get to the fusebox? It isn't something I have looked at previously.

no idea i need to remove mine cause it doesnt sit straight.

Removal of the door is easy; it is held in place by two pins forming the hinge, one of these will have been refitted incorrectly at some point.

I don't think this provides access to the fuse box though?
