Recaros

I'm really wanting to get some recaros for my 200 and have messaged a few people from Autotrader who are selling their 197's/200's to see if they would be interested to swap their recaros for my seats and cash.

You'd be better off imo buying a new seat or going to a breakers as the value of the standard 197/200 seats isn't a lot to be honest. Renspares sell em when they have them for roughly £1100-1200

Be worth just going straight to Edge for a quote? He can supply and retrim them for you.

Cheers for the suggestions. They= way i had done it so far was just to try and keep costs down

Think ill get a quote though Pete so i have a rough price i need to aim for. But also would like a remap done.

Yeah...I would imagine you're gonna need to budget £1500+ for those seats. Retrim alone is what...750?

Do like those - hard to justify 1.2K on seats though but i want them :S

The standard Clio seats are adequate enough and comfy, but the Recaros are recaros and look the part

I have done what you are after doing and it took a while but worth it,Im just waiting for a phone call of steve at Edge for a leather retrim.

The covers in your first post are the official Renault leather option. Was another grand on top of the grand for the recaros so it wasn't a popular choice.

I might be interested in doing this too if I could find some Recaros at a good price. What do you need to be able to swap with standard seats? Just new runners?

Wouldn't it be less troublesome to buy a car fitted with them and swap them into your car and then sell the other car with your old seats in

Is a pretty good idea. Just means outlaying X amount until getting it back

Exactly the same Steve.. Runners would be different if it came with them.
