rear seats weight?!?

I don't think its that much, my computer is 16kg and its dam heavy to move, the seats on the other hand are not.

Have u picked the rear seats up? Especially the base bit its pretty heavy.

dont forget the seat belts thats bolted down

it all add-ups mate i stripped out me other car one day (punto GT) which was back seats, parcel shelf, carpet and soundeadning, spare wheel and some plastic around handbrake/gearstick and it was scarily fast.

I did the same with my old vts.

Removed;

Carpets, door cards front and rear, every bit of sound deadening, all seats and seat belts, pillar trims, spare wheel, spare wheel cage, boot lining, jack, pretty much everything in the cabin tbh.

All was replaced with one light weight bucket seat and 4 point harness.

My car was stupidly loud anyway so stripping it out just made inthat little bit louder.

It went like faeces off of a digging implement afterwards!

I can't wait to get my 197 now, only a couple more months!

takin the seats out make absolute fook all difference mate, trust me ive done it when i spilled 5 litres of paint in the boot so had to strip the rear out

only good thing is the noise

Weight is weight, you can't argue with physics!

Whether that 0.5% reduction actually does enough for you to notice it is another matter. I could get 50 kilos out of my old car with the back seats, spare wheel and toolkit out! That you noticed!!
