Rear brakes seized/squeeling

Hello all.

My rear passanger side calliper is seized and is causing the brakes to squeel. i have already stripped and cleaned the callipers and changed all my brake pads and discs but this has not sorted it out. Will i be needing a new calliper?

just because it squeeles doesn't mean its seized. One of mine is the same, but it is odd that they still are considering you've changed all the pads and disks.

Did the caliper wind back ok when you previously stripped your brakes bud ? If it was really tight winding back maybe on it's way out! Or maybe you have a cable starting to seize! Couldn't believe how quick my rear wheel started locking on when my cable seized was ok driving to football and when driving home could feel the car holding back til the wheel was basically ready to lock on!

They are brembo pads and yeah i greased them up pretty well.

And yh it was really tight when winding back it was a struggle winding it back

The piston should not be that difficult to wind back m8, I would either be looking at changing the caliper or a repair kit. For how much they cost I would prob just get a caliper.
