rattle from front wheel when going over bumps

Hi, i was wondering if anyone can throw any light on a problem i have? if you go over a bump, even a slight one with the windows down there is a rattle that sounds like bottle tops rattling, it seems to be coming from the front left, iv had it to two garages and there is no play in the wheel at all and they cant find what it is, it is really annoying, any ideas? thanks

Did the garage jack your car up? It might be a broken spring?

I'd suggest it could be a broken spring too - unless the two garages have ruled that out??

Sounds like when I had excess play in the shock absorber. Ended up replacing it.

Edit: Didn't seem to affect handling or anything but the noise was driving me crazy.
