Rabbit1986 from Belgium

Hello everyone.

After having owned a toro red 197, which I sold for our new house, the hunger for a new 200 was great.

The house being built, and having a nice company car for the more rational miles, my girlfriend and I decided to replace her 12 year old VW Polo 1.4 with a brand new 200

The 200's specs:

- Ice white
- CUP pack
- Recaro seats
- Parking sensors ( girls you know ... )
- The cornerning light assist

Looks like a really nice example. Is the comfort access (Renault key card) an option in Belgium?

Yup,

It's a part of the "Electronic pack". This includes: keyless go, automatically folding mirrors and in depth adjustable steering wheel.
Costs 350€.

I already had this option on my 197 ( which was second hand ), and I didn't quite see the value to me.

Welcome mate,enjoy
Very nice looking motor you have there

Thanks.

In the near future these parts will be installed

- Akrapovic slip-on (the only legal one in BE) of the RS-R exhaust system. To be decided when launched...
- Team Dynamics rims with semi slicks for trackdays.
- Other brake pads
- RS-R engine tuning parts (??)

Welcome to the site, the car looks great. I would have opted for the Electronic pack myself! Lol!

Welcome fellow countryman.

Nice ride!

Thanks.

You're talking a lot about the RS-R... do you have more info 'bout this, 'cause as far as I'm aware of it was just a prototype...
I've been to my dealer in Aarschot the other day and one of the mechanics there told me with a tremendous degree of certainty that the new Clio RS 2012 was already finished and it would be powered by a 1.6L turbocharged engine. If RenaultSport want to give the Clio one last proper evolution, they better launch it quick imo.

Yesterday an Akrapovic Evolution has been fitted to my clio.

We also did a remap.

We still have to do a run on the dyno, because the ECU is still learning that one of the lambda sensors has been disengaged by the Akrapovic.

The result up to now is that the car pulls strong from 3k. I really adore it. it now has everything it was lacking.

Pulling from 3k. Mind the "POP" sound when shifting
