R888R Vs AR-1

£638 delivered I believe. So only about £50 or so more than the R888R/AR-1. I like the idea of the Kevlar sidewall of the AR1 but I couldn't ignore the masses of recommendations for the ZTR. We'll see how they work on the car at Snetterton on Thursday I suppose!

thanks, having read up on them they seem to have a bit of longevity too..

Khumho v70s in hard are the best tyres I’ve ever used
Used on Evo’s and Scoobys but not tried them on the Clio rs yet
But the v70 were designed to be used as a short track use
I used them for sprints and Hillclimbing
Used them a Knockhill but only good for 10 laps then you need to cool them down
What is a hard v70
is really a soft compound in other makes of tyres
I found a v70 medium only good for a few miles use and they went to shit
Really a super soft compared to road tyres
If you get my drift

Well, after reading many reviews and taking comments on board I've taken the plunge and ordered a set of MRF ZTR from @NickD at MOT Motorsport. He's offered to fit them for me at Snetterton if I don't get them fitted in time which is very good of him!
What was the price if you don't mind me asking?
