pw's 197 track car

Not intending on going to wild but thought I'd start a little thread to keep track of progress

weve started with a 2007 197 that came with cup dampers and eibach springs

so far I've sourced a miltek system and ordered some pro race 1.2's

managed to find a little time today to give her a clean and pull all the exterior black plastic trims / grills off to get painted

also removed door handles and rub strip trims for the same

shes only getting a single stage machine polish but will finish with all
ceramic coatings for ease of future washing

Have sourced a de cat too and will fit with manifold and induction kit then a good mapping session to optimise

nothing for a week or two buddy no - the grills etc have been away being painted so she's just been sat with no bumpers / arch liners etc on

will get her back together and coated this week as the week after is remap and geo week

little update

so heres how far we've got so far

after picking her up we got her in the workshop for a good clean up

















plenty of grime so well worth the effort !!

next it was off with the bumper and arch liners out to remove all the grills for painting - also rear diffuser and door handles removed for the same



got them back from painting this week so she's back together for now and we've also fitted the Miltek









and how she's looking at the minute





next week we're off to RS tuning for a remap and bro sport for geometry

also ordered seat bases from K-tec so should be able to get the tillets installed

RS tuning

had a ride up to Leeds yesterday for a health check and cheeky remap






she made 185 bhp and 150 ft/lbs which I'm pleased with for a 9 year old car with just exhaust and filter

today we're off to bro sport for geo​
