Possibly a stupid question regarding Recaro Seats ...

Is it possible to somehow strip them down and put the drivers side at the passenger side and visa-versa?

My drivers side bolster has alittle wear from the previous owner rubbing against it, so i thought to prevent it getting any worse (once these things start it doesnt take much to make them alot worse) if i could swap sides it would be in the middle and not get rubbed any more :clap:

I am pretty sure that the covers are not handed (unlike the standard seats) so swapping shouldn't be a problem. How on the other hand...

By the looks of things, you are only out of warranty by about a week.

Might be worth trying to get it replaced?

That one on ebay for the 200 says nothing about being handed, if your cover is ok and the foam is goosed, may be worth buying and then swapping the cover over? I'm sure you'd get something back for the black/yellow one.

Thanks for the replies - i'm very grateful, however i may have to change my description of where the wear is! :foxspeed:

Its actually the side of the back of the seat, rather than the bolster, as thats on the bit you sit on, doh!

Not sure of the technical name??!
