Thanks! Yeah it had just been cleaned the day before hahawelcome and looks so clean
I was considering keeping it standard.. but I'm going to be modifying it as I go along yes!are you keeping it standard or have you modified it?
Ok cheers, yeah the 197 are the same as the earlier type on the 200 from what I've readlooks like mine and my is a 197...
Early type for certainThe cars running standard ff suspension as far as I can see so I'm looking at refreshing it now as it's likely 8 years old.. it's registered Nov '10 and with the new RS style badges so I presumed that it had the new style top mounts.. but I've checked and they look like the old style from pics I've seen.. is this right?

[emoji106]Don’t forget it could have been late registered and built 4 months previous, but yes it’s defo in the crossover anyway...
I'm never going to complain about someone going for lighter wheels having done so myself & I know I am in a minority in thinking Gordini wheels with the blue inserts are by far the nicest Clio wheels. When I was looking for my Clio Gordinis were right up there! Rejected any without those wheels though. Was actually on my way down to Bristol from Inverness to view a Gordini when I checked with a dealer in Bedfordshire whether he still had the car I ended up buying. Guy in Bristol sounded really disappointed when I phoned to say I wasn't coming.
Not used F1s myself but they're pretty highly rated as a road tyre. Good call!I've cancelled the wheels now! They weren't in stock so I was having to wait but to be honest I do like these standard ones.. they do look a little tired now though so maybe need a refurb at some point.
I got new boots instead last week as well, Eagle F1's and rid of the budget Arnold Clark specials!
[emoji106] I researched and decided on these over the other options, especially as they were 'only' £75 a corner fitted. Not used F1s myself but they're pretty highly rated as a road tyre. Good call!
