new to the modern world

Hi all,


Took the plung on saturday and purchased a new toy: 2007, Red 197, 1 owner, 43k jobby - VERY Happy so far and fingers crossed it turns out to be a good one.


My previous toys been a 1988 Renault 5 GT Turbo, so it amazing driving a modern vehicle - the 2 arent the same (clearly) but both give you a beaming smile when you put your foot down. Been really impressed with the 197 so far, smooth, handles well, and unlike the 5 - things work

Originally joined as i was on the hunt for a 197, and so far found the site REALLY helpful!

So again hello all and no doubt the questions will start to come thick and fast as i tinker with the new motor

Welcome..... I do like the feeling of driving old cars, the feel so light (and dangerous) but the feeling is amazing you will enjoy the 197 awsome car....
