new k-tec induction?

just seen a thread start on this induction. but i cant post.

it got me thinking:

am i wrong to think, whats the point in paying so much for a "open" induction.

would it not work so much better the the shield around the filter was a sealed unit to some degree?

the cold air feed on the font now depends on ram-air to force colder air to the intake and that only has great affect (i believe) if going over 100mph for a significant length of time, even that its just putting it to a open space?

so surely the induction is sitting in dormant air thats in the engine bay, and will be warmer intake temps?

if it was sealed then it would also have a natural intake suction grabbing cold air from the front of the car?

or is everything i have said just bull locks?

Yeah paid members section, worth it for the sake of a fiver to open up some more areas of the forum
