MK1 clio v6 speakers in a 197???

I found a banging pair of co axial speakers from my old clio v6 in the basement.

Not sure on size, but anyone know if the speaker size is the same or allowance with an adaption plate can be used?

I know a 182 has 13cm speakers in the front, as does the 197 so I guess you should be good to go

This was a mk1 clio v6, but can meaure them up now.

Just did not want to prise open the door card etc not knwoing their size.

I know its not an audio forum at all, but with these speakers just sitting there collecting dust i might as well drop them in if its going to fit.

You don't need to prise open the door card, you can just pop the speaker covers. I think there might be a small gap at the bottom you can fit a thin screw driver into. It's quite literally a 10 second job.

Yup. My old infinity speakers from 2006 when I had my Clio v6 are the same side. Even have splitter as they are coaxials. Boom!!!!

All fitted. They were the same size. Wrapped the cross over unit in bubble wrap and wedged in behind the door card making sure it doesn't get fouled by window mech. Bubble wrap should eliminate any rattles.
