Jimmy
Good cop
So it's that time of the week when we get to see the person behind the username, in another Member of the Moment!
This time it's @Micah !
Describe yourself in 3 words: Nostalgic Emo Kid
Current car: 2011 RS200 in Deep Black
First car: Renault 5 GTL 1.4 (A real babe magnet - 5 door, Williams logo on the bonnet and sports steering wheel which became banana-shaped when it took the force of the driver when I was suddenly drawn to a telegraph pole!
Why you love Clio197.net: The people and technical guides, it's a proper community for those who love their Clios and aren't afraid to push the boundaries in doing something different. Proper grammar and spelling is a welcome relief from such pages as CSOC on BookFace - 'my 1*2 is fukd M9' etc
Favourites
Food: Anything with pasta - I'll get through a dish faster than @nutnutwelshman can get through Eau Rouge!
Drink: Wine - a good Sauv Blanc. Beer - Became addicted to San Miguel Especial in Lanzarote this year. I think it was the matt white can that reminded me of a nicely spec'd Clio 220 Trophy! Spirit - Gin. Because Friday!
Holiday destination: Undecided, I've been lucky enough to visit a lot of places in the last 6 years (other than Ukraine) and have to say I love going to Barcelona, and was pleasantly surprised by Granada also. USA road trips are much fun - have done Orlando to Key West and am now planning the 'Deep South' adventure for this September.
Film: Return of the Jedi
Film Star: Don't really have one, but I like the versatility of Christian Bale
Sport: BTCC - proper racing!
Hobby: Listening to music whilst not indulging in any hobbies (i.e. cooking, cleaning, staring into space). I'm very nostalgic so like to listen to random songs on Spotify that I remember from my childhood and adolescence (told you I was emo)
Pornstar: Erm... Kym Marsh??
TV Show: Now Game of Thrones has finished, Bob's Burgers!
TV presenter/personality: Giles Coren
Song: Trash by Suede
Band: Muse
Computer game: COD Modern Warfare 2 is one of the all-time greats, as is Battlefield 2 on PC
Website (other than Clio197.net): TotalJobs, SecsintheCity, LondonJobs (can you guess my current state of mind?)
Dream 3 car garage:
1. Renault Megane 275 Trophy
2. Porsche Panamera
3. Mercedes Benz C63 Coupe
Fantasy Partner to:
Marry: Carmen Jorda
Have a one night stand with: Anna Kendrick, just for sh*ts and giggles
Celebrity I'd most like to punch: Lewis Hamilton
One thing I am excellent at: Quick witted
One thing I am terrible at: Smalltalk with people I have no interest in talking to
Proudest moment: Passing my CIPD qualification (I work in HR - sorry!). I'm not academic, I need context and practice, not theory. I dropped out of Uni after 3 months, so to have the equivalent of a degree means a great deal to me.
Most embarrassing moment: I once picked up some boxes from main reception in my first London job. My trousers split and made the worst 'pop' I've ever heard. I had to call through to my desk and have someone bring me my suit jacket which i then had to tie around my waist. Luckily there was a dry cleaners in the basement of my building so off I went to see if they could fix the arse area of my 'slim fit' trousers. There was only one woman in the dry cleaners who didn't speak much English, so you can imagine how that conversation of mainly hand gestures and pointing went. I had to wait in the back room in my pants while she sewed them back up. She could never look me in the eye after that!
Pet hate: Noisy eaters
Favourite chat up line: Hello CHEEEEEKY!
Favourite joke: What's orange and sounds like a parrot? A carrot.
Question from MRizzle: Would you rather have to say EVERYTHING that's on your mind OR never be able to speak: The former of course! In my grand old-age of 36, I am increasingly suffering fools less gladly. I've taken to making remarks and sculpting my face when buffoon's waste valuable seconds by making a noise for the sake of having a hole in their face!
Member who you nominate to be interviewed next and why: @montana Because fellow Deep Black owner!
Random question to ask that person: Have you ever seen a ghost or had a supernatural experience?
