A bit over a month ago I noticed my car made the horrible ball joint noise over the course of a few days but only when the steering was at full lock. After those few days it's stopped doing it without anytging being changed but it has developed a slight wheel wobble at around 65-70mph. Problem is is that this wheel wobble is intermittent and when it does do it it's only after driving for a while. I've tried looking for play in any joints myself but they all seem solid. I don't think it's anytging out of balance as it would do it all the time.
My question is can worn ball joints cause wheel wobble and has anybody had them make a noise and then stop again? My understanding is once they start doing it they only get worse.
