loud steering groan

I've noticed when using a lot of steering lock, There is a loud groaning noise, but it feels fine. Has anyone else had these symptoms?

Sound like the lower hub swivel bearing. Plenty of threads on it but you can get them from RSPORT in Wimbledon, main dealers don't sell them.

Mines doing the same on the right.

Knew it would only be a matter of time. Everything else has gone wrong with the car since I had it so why not the hubs!

Mine was doing it on drivers side, replaced yesterday and today started on passenger side. Brilliant.
The swivel joint from Renault in Wimbledon was £60 delivered and got a mate (owns Gyrodrift, drift car builders) to fit it for me. He charged me £170. It was his first go fitting it so took him ages, but he said next time will be cheaper.
