LOL @ O2 prepay card

I thought I'd get one to see what the fuss is all about, I loaded it up with £50 this morning, strolled over to Somerfield's and the second that it said "Remove Card" from the pin pad, I got a text from O2 Money saying "You have just spent £3.68 in Somerfield Haywards Heath"

Well, I had no idea whatsoever that I was spending money in Somerfield, and I needed that text to point the the bloody obvious!

I think it is to do with using it more abroad/online where there is a risk of "skimming"

I use the mastercard eveywhere, but o2 sent me one so thought i'd use it.

Good idea for those people who are bad spenders - you can only spend what you topped up with on the card!

It is like Pay as you Go, good idea for giving to your kids!!

All is done in sterling, but Caxton FX have a dollar, euro and sterling prepay card - and it is the best card in the world for exchange rate apparently!!!
