Locking wheel bolts help please

Hi

Does anyone know what angle the taper needs to be on the locking wheel bolts? As I need to get sone new ones.

I know from searching I need m12x1.5 but unsure on the collar taper angle.

Also with my standard alloys do I need to find some lockers with the connical washer or does it matter if there is no washer?

Any help is appreciated

Clio wheel bolt size:

Standard bolts are:

m14*1,5mm 60degree cone seat
27mm thread length
19mm head

Personally I wouldn't bother with locking nuts, they are more hassle than they are worth. Can't remember the last time I heard of a set of rims being stolen off a car.

Thanks for the info but...as my clio is a non sport I have 17mm heads on the bolts and by all accounts they're m12x1.5

Is it possible just to order standard bolts from renault? I assume it is...just wonder how much they'd be wanting for them :-/

The size will be as above to the same length as your wheel bolt that came with the spacer.

Get a tape out.
