Replace door seal - Done
New headunit - Done
Powerflex engine mounts - Upper torque mount done
Brake caliper and pins service/lube up - Done
New discs and pad's all around - Fronts discs and pads done, rear pads replaced
Cambelt, Aux belt and Waterpump - Done
New Tyres (Eagle F1's) - Done
New lower ball joints / Hub carrier - Done

Few Pics of how things stand now:

Great looking 197, good photos too. Best colour

Good to see the brake servicing being done, essential on these cars!

Thanks very much jimmyd81, I have to agree best colour (biased :lol2:smile: but hardest to keep clean!

Looks nice & tidy.... Do you get much vibration from the upper torque engine mount? I've got upper and lowers fitted and thinking about removing / replacing the upper

Thanks Beany-08gt. There was an increase in vibration initially, however it soon settled down after a few weeks.

Nice car. Second pic is fantastic! And it's nice to see someone new to ownership coming straight in with some good maintenance

Thanks ///M, after having owned the 172 Cup, I knew just how important it is to keep on top of things. :d

Nice car! Re the upper torque mount, was it quite simple to fit? I am thinking about beefing up my engine mounts to protect the flexis on the manifold mainly, and would like to do this upper one myself (no garage, basic tools... Limited skills)

cl955 thanks, it was really easy. The hardest part is removing the metal clamp from the standard one.
