Ktec sports cat!!!!!

So managed to get myself a nearly new ktec sports cat for £105  has anyone got any experience of one? Does it have a flat spot. I'm obviously expecting it to be louder than a standard get but is it quieter than a decat?
I also have a silencer delete at home as well so am hoping for a increase in hp over standard

The standard back box is really restrictive! I had a decat+silencer delete with standard back box, then swapped for a scorpion cat back with a decat an what a difference!

I'm just trying to avoid making it too loud, I had a decat back system on there before which was great on B road blasts but as a large proportion of my driving is motorway based I ended up taking it off

you will get a flat spot with the silencer delete thats for sure so if your fitting the sports cat at the same time might be worth a remap after.

Hi Guys,
New member here. I've had my 197 for three years now and had the Ktec pro performance manifold fitted a few months ago as well as the Ktec pro performance induction kit and had the car remapped by a local garage. I then replaced the rest of the exhaust last week with the Ktec sports cat and Ktr pro performance cat back system. Soon as the car was run up the emissions light came on, spoke to ktec and they said it needed remapping and as I live miles away I decided to buy their renflash unit. Got the new map on the car and reset the fault code. The car ran great until around 5000rpm at which it felt like a rev limiter was in place. To cut the story short I discovered my 2nd Lambda sensor was knackered, took it off and the whole inside is destroyed, anyway put a new sensor on it tonight and get the same thing!!!

Any ideas? I'm wondering if the sensor is too big for the cat or something?

Thanks in advance
Matt

When you say second lambda, do you mean the one on the cat? As far as I know that sensor doesn't actually do anything as far as engine management is concerned. I don't have one installed at the moment and don't have any issues, other than a warning light.
