Interior air vents-middle set

Anyone know how to remove the air vents in the front of the car (as in the middle set)? I need to re-line up the slider things in the back of them as a few are pointing to one side.

I've seen a few threads on here where people just say "pull them". Not to sound useless but how? I tried and there's nowhere to grab onto, daren't force them too much incase I snap something.

Please someone help :-(

if they are like the side vents I just used a flat head screwdriver to prise them out and then pulled on them, didnt cause any damage.

sorted did it.
anyone looking to do this should aim for the left or right sides, easier that way than the top or bottom middle.
