aww, I hope everythings ok mental. I hate hospitals and spent a long time in an MRI a couple of weeks ago, not the most uplifting of places I find.

well they have no idea whats wrong with my young en, they have all but ruled out cancer and he is getting double doses of the strongest antibiotics they can via intravenous with a specialist child radiologist coming in tomorrow to scan him.

As far as MRI i fell asleep during mine, although i jumped out of my skin on the first bleep! When they said it was going to be noisy they should have given me ear defenders. Actually thinking about it i think they did! i still nodded off though.

Hope everything works out ok for you and your family Mr Pen, its never easy when loved ones are in hospital. Fingers crossed for you

Here's hoping you can forget the C word, it's a difficult thing though as you always think of the worst with things like this.

Sorry to hear that your lads in hospital.

Both cars look great. If only all car parks were like that. There'd be no dinged doors and world peace would be achieved

Well they let him out for now.........

Good news is he has eventually responded to antibiotics. He has all the blood tests they can and none show anything up. He had scan after scan and again nothing (apart from his infection) showed up.

Bad news they have no idea whats actually wrong with him so they are putting it down to a mystery infection that for the second time in a month has attacked the exact same part of his body.

He now has to continue his antibiotics but if it re appears again he will face surgery for a biopsy.

Thanks again for the good wishes.

Happy New Year Everyone.
