Ice skating

Take my son ice skating every Xmas for couple of months over festive period. I'm six three and find it bloody difficult but is a laugh.

I went last year to an outdoor place they set up in centre of Manchester... I probably spent more time on my arse than being stood up!

My legs just won't obey the moves needed to be any good. my ten year old flies round me. it must be an age or height thing or both.

I haven't tried skating for about 40 years, I'm 56, so it's probably that I/we just can't skate!

I was 47 when I first tried. That's the issue!

Not been for a good few years but as you, im useless, so its not an age thing either!

Yet to take my son he has never been yet.

Took my two year old. he wasn't impressed

Depends how forward he is. I reckon a few weeks and Joseph would at least be able to stand up

Yeah suppose, only one way to find out and its to take him, he can do most things to be honest but as you say its a difficult sport, and i think i would find it hard to show him as i cant skate!
