ibook update.?

started using lisas ibook G4 after its been under the bed for a couple of years.
needs updating big time.
its running 10.3.9 i think.
cant seem to view all web sites properly. ebay dont work and even this site things are all over the place.

so, what software should i be downloading and is would fife fox work better.?

this crappy emac im on is 10.5.8 and everything works ok....
