I am looking to get an i-pod cable installed into my stereo in the 197.

I have the cabasse 6cd autochanger in the car. I also have a parrot bluetoothe system which the previous owner installed in the car.

Would it be possible to have an ipod cable put into the car as well? or would the parrot system be using the Aux port?

sorry i have no idea about stereo's

What Parrot system do you have?

There isn't an off-the-shelf solution to your problem, I use a Parrot MKi9200, which is hard wired into the large plug at the back of the underseat unit, it controls my iPod, and provides a line-in, bluetooth streaming, and USB facility.

If your Parrot kit doesn't use this, then you can make up a standalone aux lead to connect into that plug.

If you let me know exactly what you have, I can tell you better.

Sounds similar to my Parrot kit, however I don't know how much experience Dension have of bluetooth kits, which is where Parrot excel.

By far the easiest way to use and charge an iPod with a cabasse system is with a
"connect 2" fm modulator.
Just wire into live on back of cig lighter and plug into aerial connection of stereo, job done.
Had no interference at all.
