How

How do i match my inlets? Read many posts bout it but would like to know how to do it? Do i need to take it to a specialist to get it done?

Cheers j

from what i have seen, you can buy them already done.
if you can do without your car for a few days, a good local machine shop could machine your inlet manifold for you....

stu.

Personally I would be inclined to get someone to do them for you. Also changing the lower is a right faff!

If you wanted to do them yourself, look at the pics in my project thread.

Service from Craig @ AP Developments has been very good, and he has an excellent reputation.

If you don't want to take your car off the road, I could loan you my inlets for a £200 deposit - fully refundable upon receipt of your inlets.

Also, based upon my experience from yesterday, try and get hold of a spare MAP sensor - mine broke when I was trying to remove it from the original upper inlet, which means my car is sat at the garage until a new one comes on Tuesday.

Finally, I would also suggest you get replacement gaskets to go between the head and lower inlet, and between the upper and lower inlets.

Anything else I can tell you, give me a shout.

inlet matching needs to be done by a competent person mate. if you get it wrong its can cause problems.
