How to remove clio 197 front grilles.

I am wanting to spray mine gloss black does anyone know how to remove them? I have looked for a how to but couldn't find one.

Hi mate,

there are 4 bolts that are 12" I think just under the bonnet. Take them off and pull the front towards you and you can in lip them from behind. It's a bit diddly to I clip them but it's do-able

You don't have to remove any bolts if you don't want to, basically it's a pull off job, make sure you pull from the headlight side.

I just used a flat blade screwdriver and a cloth underneath to stop it scratching the paintwork

Hi great thread, can you tell me what paint is best to use please? I want them in black, is it just a standard black spray paint from homebase or something like that?

Give them a good clean/degrease. Few coats of primer then a few coats of satin or gloss black.
