i paid £190 to have my winter wheels powder coated satin black.
powder coating is much more durable than paint.

^ Sounds like a plan. When were you thinking of getting them done, as it's a toss up of spoiler or wheels this month and the other in maybe a couple of months time. I was thinking spoiler this month as I really like them, but need to find prices first.

i got a quote from these guys for £329 including VAT, for 4x 17" full refurb to gloss black, vehicle in, strip, refit + balance, and wheels waxed

or around £300 if i wax them myself...

but i'm still undecided about the finish, gloss black or matt black? (standard 197 bebops)

I have used the Wheel Specialist (Leeds) a few times, quality is very good, but they are expensive.

I am going to get my spare wheels done by LSN Coatings in Castleford, they have quoted me £120 for four. Downside is that I need to get the tyres removed, but that shouldn't be a major problem.

£130 at a local powdercoaters in Macclesfield + £20 backhander to the lads in the tyre shop to strip and then refit/balance afterwards.

If the wheels don't need repairing, you'll get stiffed at a wheel place. Any powdercoaters will have black and will do just as good a job.

yeah it's expensive but one of the wheels is in need of repair so i can't just go to any powdercoater
