Click on go advanced when posting and they are to the right hand side? you are then able to click more to bring up the full list, click on the one you want and there you go

You cant get smilies on the quick reply unless you know the code.

Once you click go advanced the page will refresh to a new "reply to thread" window. On the right hand side you have an assortment of smilies. If you want more, you click the "More" button.

totally understand but i got nothing, nada, zilch on the right hand side, do i have to allow anything in my user cp?

What internet browser you using?

go down to edit options,

scroll all the way down to the bottom and make sure its on enhanced interface.

that might work.
