How do you put the number plate bulb holder back on ?

My bulb holder is disconnected from my number plate and the garage I went to said they will need to pull off the whole bumper to try re connect it I was just wondering if this is true or is there an easier way ?

Sorry for putting it in the wrong place , aparantly they can't find the clip to clip it on to so say they will need to pull it all off to find the wire? Booked me in for an hour slot to do it which if I can do it myself would rather that than pay an hours labour

Well they might have lost the wire to the bulb holder and it's dropped inside, hence having to remove it, but the actual little unit just push clips in.

Try a wire coat anger to see if you can snag it?
