Hid 200

Also forgot to say, you will have to core out holes in the black rubber/plastic caps that seal the back of the light unit, to allow the new bulbs and wiring through. I used a 20mm wood drill if I remember correctly. You will also have to loosen off the two 10mm nuts that hold the air inlet trumpet in position and the battery covers, this will allow you to get your hand in. (on the right side)

Dont think I said, but mine were 6.5k hids. I personaly wouldnt go any brighter, as they start to go quite blue after about 6-6.5. Will try get some pics up of them in the dark.
Hope this helps:thumbup1:

I'm thinking about changing the bulbs of my projector lights on my 200 soon after I take delivery next week.
How do premium bulbs like philips extreme power compare to a HID kit?
I want better visibility and want to get rid of the yellow halogen color.

Bumping this old thread.

Could someone chime in and tell us what bulb type is used in 200 projectors for the low beam, H7 or H1?
