Its ok being over 50
Just think of what we had
A gallon (when they sold gallons) was 50p
I could go to the pub with a few pound notes and come back with a few pound notes. They would not serve me, looked too young. Not now.
Saw Debbie Harry at Deeside Leisure Center in 79 (think) front row.
Shee still looks good now. That maybe the eyes

I can remember the first lot of fuel I payed for in the works van good old dodge jobby.It was 37p a gallon 4* and 26p 2 stroke for the huskavana cutters we used.Plus we got green shield stamps and you never got out your car as they had attendants who filled you up and got your change
you could get a Gallon of fuel pint of larger 10 no6 fags a box of matches for under a £1.Them were the days

Hope that trip to Spa is not a lot of Beer and Indians
 
On STOC, they have a group of members called STOG lol, OG standing for Old Gits...

Maybe, as a parting symbol of my time on here, I should create a new user group called 'Old Farts' or 'Pensioners' or similar, and add all you more mature, wiser and kinder people to this group. Have the username in a different colour too :wink:
