Help! - Number plate not lit, bulb ok and sidelights working

Hi, I saw one of my rear numberplate bulbs had blown, so replaced it... but managed to short the terminals very briefly trying to lever the old bulb out... and now neither of the rear bulbs are on.

the rest of the car lights work fine, so i don't understand how it could be a fuse... does anyone know wtf's going on?

It is odd, but if theres no power going to the bulb (I'd check rather than just the bulb itself) then chances are its a fuse. Maybe look through the manual/fuse box and have a check in there. Shouldn't take too long.

Usually when you short the number plate bulbs, it takes out the ns side lights too. But there is a great how to in the section on the forum of how to change the fuse, which is located under the air box in the engine bay.
