when replacing the standard headunit, there is no need for a facia is there as it looks single din alreday.

facia surround yes mate you do,

you need to get the Meganne surround which is a straight fit.

If you replace the HU then you will have a gap around the HU.

I am going to try and make one for mine so its a much flusher fit than the Megane one, but if you look on ebay for Megane facia you will find lots.

At the sides it does but it fits a bit funny around the top and bottom, I am mega fussy about things like this lol
